
“Surf” Brand Identity & Packaging Development
I had the opportunity to develop branding for a fledgling cannabis business named "Surf." Drawing on my design skills and local market knowledge, I crafted a compelling brand strategy that seamlessly blended creativity with regulatory requirements, with the goal of establishing "Surf" as a standout player in the competitive cannabis market.
During the initial research phase, I delved into the product landscape of the cannabis industry, analyzing trends and consumer preferences to inform the branding strategy. Subsequently, in the sketching phase, I translated these insights into visual concepts and themes, experimenting with various themes to capture the essence of the brand and its unique identity within the market.
During the next phase, I crafted polished logo options for "Surf," ensuring they encapsulated the brand's essence, while also harmonizing typography and colors. Additionally, I began conceptualizing the initial packaging, marrying aesthetics with functionality to create a memorable consumer experience.
In the final phase, we selected our strongest branding concepts for "Surf," focusing on their potential to resonate with the target audience. We continued refining these options, while also expanding packaging options to enhance the brand's market presence. Despite nearing completion, the project remains ongoing as we strive for perfection in the brand strategy.
